Description

We are looking for a highly experienced Chemical Engineer to lead and build our Chemical Cleaning & Decontamination projects in Saudi Arabia.
Key Responsibilities:
• Establish and develop chemical cleaning & decontamination projects.
• Design and execute chemical cleaning of tanks, vessels, and columns, exchanger, drums including handling hydrocarbon systems (Naphtha, Benzene, Gasoline, Pentane and other volatile materials)
• Prepare process flow diagrams (PFDs), method statements, and detailed procedures
• Select appropriate chemicals, pumps, and equipment based on project requirements
• Identify, evaluate, and establish strategic partnerships with chemical suppliers, including negotiating agreements to ensure reliable sourcing of decontamination chemicals for future projects
• Lead technical proposal preparation, costing, and bidding
• Liaise with clients to secure approvals and ensure compliance with standards
• Identify and source specialized equipment when not available in-house
• Manage and execute projects on-site with full responsibility for safety, quality, and timelines
Requirements:
• Minimum 8+ years of experience in chemical cleaning and decontamination
• Proven experience working with Saudi Aramco, SABIC, and related affiliates
• Strong expertise in procedure development, technical documentation, and client approvals
• Hands-on experience in project execution, estimation, and commercial bidding
• Deep understanding of hazardous chemical handling and safety protocols
