Description

We are looking for a skilled Chemist to support our Chemical Cleaning & Decontamination projects in Saudi Arabia.
This role will work closely with the Chemical Engineer to ensure the right chemical selection, testing, and performance during project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and recommend suitable chemicals and compositions for cleaning and decontamination of tanks, vessels, and columns
• Conduct lab testing, compatibility studies, and performance validation
• Support preparation of chemical procedures and technical documentation
• Monitor and control chemical parameters during execution (pH, concentration, temperature, etc.)
• Ensure safe handling, storage, and disposal of chemicals as per standards
• Assist in troubleshooting during cleaning operations
• Coordinate with chemical suppliers for product data, trials, and technical support
Requirements:
• Degree/Diploma in Chemistry or Applied Chemistry
• Minimum 4–6 years of experience in chemical cleaning, industrial chemicals, or related field
• Knowledge of handling hydrocarbon systems (Naphtha, Benzene, and similar volatile materials) is preferred
• Experience in laboratory testing and chemical analysis
• Familiarity with safety standards and MSDS requirements
