Description


We are seeking an experienced Data Privacy & Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Engineer to join our cybersecurity and compliance delivery team for a large-scale enterprise engagement in the Middle East.

The role will focus on implementing and operating enterprise-grade data protection, privacy governance, and DLP solutions aligned with regulatory frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage DLP policies across endpoints, email, cloud, and on-prem systems
Configure and optimize Microsoft Purview (DLP, Information Protection, Insider Risk)
Monitor DLP alerts, perform triage, and manage incident response
Implement data classification and sensitivity labeling strategies
Support privacy frameworks including RoPA, DPIA, and compliance reporting
Collaborate with SOC, GRC, IAM, and IT teams
Reduce false positives and continuously improve DLP effectiveness
Support audits, regulatory requirements, and compliance initiatives
Required Skills:
Strong experience with Microsoft Purview (DLP, Compliance, Information Protection)
Experience in enterprise DLP implementation and operations
Understanding of data privacy regulations (GDPR, regional laws)
Knowledge of email security, endpoint protection, and cloud environments (M365, Azure)
Familiarity with SIEM/SOC integration (e.g., Sentinel)
Strong analytical and incident handling skills
Preferred:
Experience in telecom, banking, or regulated environments
Knowledge of CITRA or regional compliance frameworks
Certifications in Microsoft Security / Compliance
Location:

Hybrid (Onsite + Remote – Middle East)
