Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled QC Chemical Laboratory Technician with hands-on prefered experience in the mining sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemical analysis, laboratory operations, and quality systems, with the ability to perform accurate testing and generate professional technical reports.


Key Responsibilities

Perform chemical and physical analysis of raw materials and finished products related to mining operations

Operate and maintain laboratory instruments such as XRF, XRD, sieve analysis equipment, and other analytical tools.

Ensure compliance with ISO standards (especially ISO 9001 and laboratory best practices).

Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports, including data comparison and control chart analysis.

Conduct statistical analysis of test results and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Maintain proper documentation, records, and laboratory logs.

Support internal audits and quality control procedures.

Assist in laboratory management activities, including inventory control and calibration schedules.

Ensure adherence to safety standards and proper handling of chemicals and equipment.

Qualifications & Requirements

Diploma in Chemistry or related field.

3–5 years of experience in a chemical laboratory, preferably within the mining or mineral processing industry.

Strong knowledge of laboratory testing methods (chemical & physical).

Familiarity with ISO systems and quality documentation.

Experience in technical report writing and data analysis.

Proficiency in basic statistical tools and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).

Hands-on experience with laboratory instruments used in mining analysis.

Good command of English (written and verbal).

Must be available to join immediately.

Willingness and readiness to transfer sponsorship (Iqama transfer) within a maximum of two weeks from the date of job offer.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in silica sand or mineral laboratories

or equivelant Diploma of chemical technican industry.

Knowledge of advanced analytical techniques.

Experience in laboratory supervision or coordination is a plus.
