Job Summary

Contracting Co. is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support daily financial operations, maintain accurate records, and assist in project-based accounting activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of basic accounting principles and experience working in a construction or contracting environment.

Key Responsibilities
Assist in maintaining accounts payable and receivable
Record daily financial transactions in accounting systems
Support preparation of financial reports and statements
Handle invoice processing and documentation
Assist in project cost tracking and expense monitoring
Reconcile bank statements and ledgers
Ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures
Support audit processes and documentation
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Finance
1–3 years of experience in accounting
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
Experience in ERP systems (ERPNext preferred)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Preferred Skills
Experience in construction or project-based accounting
Knowledge of Saudi VAT (ZATCA regulations)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication and organizational skills
