About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Draftsman with strong expertise in preparing detailed engineering drawings, models, and documentation. Candidates with more than 5 years of drafting experience are preferred. Experience working on tower projects will be considered a strong added advantage.



Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed 2D and 3D mechanical drawings, layouts, and models.

Develop fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, and bill of materials (BOM).

Interpret engineering sketches, specifications, and technical instructions accurately.

Collaborate with mechanical engineers to convert concepts into precise technical drawings.

Ensure all drafting work complies with engineering standards, project requirements, and safety guidelines.

Revise drawings based on engineering feedback and project changes.

Maintain drawing libraries, version control, and documentation standards.

Coordinate with fabrication, procurement, and project teams for technical clarity.

Conduct site visits if required to collect measurements and verify drawing accuracy.



Required Qualifications

Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or equivalent qualification.

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Mechanical Draftsman.

Strong proficiency in drafting software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar CAD tools.

Excellent understanding of mechanical components, fabrication processes, and engineering standards.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical data, and specifications.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.



Preferred / Added Advantages

Experience working on tower project

Knowledge of steel structures and site measurement techniques.
