GIS Supervisor (Gas Insulated Switchgear)-Preferably Indian/Nepali/Jordanian/Egyptian/Sri Lankan)


A newly established GIS & MV Factory in Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced GIS Supervisor to lead installation, testing, and maintenance of high-voltage GIS systems.

???? Key Responsibilities

Supervise installation, testing & commissioning of GIS (132 / 230 / 380 kV)
Lead site teams and coordinate with OEMs, contractors, and clients
Perform and oversee GIS testing:
SF6 gas handling, leakage tests, PD measurement, functional checks
Ensure proper assembly, alignment, and interlocking of GIS bays
Troubleshoot faults and support root cause analysis (RCA)
Manage maintenance activities and outage planning
Ensure compliance with SEC / IEC standards and HSE requirements
Prepare site reports, test records, and documentation

???? Requirements
Diploma / BSc in Electrical Engineering
Strong hands-on experience in GIS installation & maintenance
Experience working in HV substations
Proven supervisory or team leadership experience
Good knowledge of GIS systems from major OEMs

⭐ Preferred
OEM certification in GIS systems is a strong advantage
SEC / Saudi Aramco approval
Experience with OEMs (Siemens, Hitachi Energy, GE, etc.)
Strong troubleshooting and commissioning experience
