Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in power plant projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in multi-disciplinary quality management and hands-on experience in mechanical erection works including steam systems, boilers, turbines, tanks, pressure piping (PP), and nuclear power plant (NPP) systems.
The candidate will lead the mechanical QC/erection team, ensuring compliance with international standards, project specifications, and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage mechanical QC/erection activities for large-scale power plant projects.
• Supervise erection and inspection of mechanical systems such as boilers, turbines, tanks, piping (PP), and structural steel.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards (ASME, API, ASTM, IEC, NUPIC, etc.).
• Develop and review Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, and quality documentation.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams (mechanical, civil, electrical, instrumentation) for smooth project execution.
• Conduct site inspections, monitor progress, and enforce corrective and preventive actions for non-conformities.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and third-party inspectors to maintain quality standards.
• Prepare and maintain QC reports, checklists, and records for audits and inspections.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers and QA/QC staff.

Eligibility / Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 12 years of experience in power plant mechanical erection and QC.
• Proven experience in steam systems, boilers, turbines, tanks, pressure piping (PP), and NPP systems.
• Strong knowledge of codes, standards, and quality management systems.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
• Experience in multi-disciplinary project execution and quality control.
• Certifications such as API, CSWIP, ASNT, or NUPIC are highly desirable.
