Job Responsibilities – Mechanical Engineer (Dammam Workshop)
The Mechanical Engineer shall assume full operational, technical, and commercial responsibility for the Dammam Workshop and shall be directly accountable for its performance, profitability, compliance, and growth.
The responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to, the following:

1. Full Operational Control
• Take complete charge of day-to-day workshop operations and ensure uninterrupted workflow.
• Establish, implement, and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all workshop
activities.
• Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, equipment, and resources.
• Personally oversee execution of major jobs and offshore/site projects to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Ensure periodic preventive maintenance of workshop fleet and equipment without failure.

2. Cost Accountability
• Prepare and approve detailed job cost sheets for every project prior to execution.
• Ensure all jobs are executed within approved cost parameters.
• Maximize workshop profitability through strict cost control and operational efficiency.
• Monitor, control, and justify all workshop expenses including petty cash.
• Evaluate and regulate overtime to ensure it is productive, necessary, and cost-effective.
• Be accountable for minimizing waste, rework, and financial leakage.

3. Sales Target & Business Growth Responsibility
• Be fully responsible for achieving assigned workshop sales and revenue targets.
• Actively support business development initiatives and participate in client meetings.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure repeat business.
• Develop and implement strategies to recover lost business and increase market share.
• Identify and introduce new product lines and service domains to expand workshop revenue streams.
• Maintain accurate sales data and provide reliable sales forecasts to management.

4. Budgeting Planning
• Prepare and present annual operational budgets for management approval.
• Ensure strict adherence to approved budgets.
• Maintain complete records of sales, payment recoveries, expenses, and profitability analysis.
• Monitor outstanding payments and coordinate for timely recovery.

5. Inventory & Asset Governance
• Maintain strict control over tools, equipment, and workshop assets.
• Ensure accurate inventory records and prevent loss, misuse, or damage of company property.

6. Human Resource Leadership
• Identify manpower requirements and recommend recruitment of competent technical staff.
• Develop fresh talent and build a high-performance workshop team.
• Maintain updated HR records of workshop personnel.
• Enforce discipline, productivity, and professional conduct within the workshop.

7. Compliance, Safety & Management Systems
• Develop, implement, and maintain ISO and other management systems applicable to workshop operations.
• Ensure full compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain workplace hygiene, equipment upkeep, and safe working conditions at all times.
• Be directly accountable for worker safety and incident prevention.

8. Performance Clause
The candidates performance shall be evaluated based on:

• Business growth and customer satisfaction

REQUIREMENTS
- VALID KSA DRIVING LICENSE
- VALID TRANSFERABLE IQAMA
- BACHELORS/MASTERS IN MECHANICAL ENGINEERING
- MBA is plus
- SHOULD POSSES STRONG COMMERCIAL AND TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE
- MINIMUM 3 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN FABRICATION, HYDRAULIC & MACHINE SHOP SALES
