Accountant Job Opening

Etihad Muhawala Trading Company is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to manage and oversee financial operations across our diverse businesses, including pharmacies, restaurants, and hardware trading.If you understand multi-branch operations, high transaction volumes, and real-world business accounting — this role is for you.

Responsibilities:
• Handle vendor payments and accounts payable/receivable
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
• Coordinate with management on financial planning and reporting
• Ensure proper recording of POS/Span transactions and bank reconciliations
• Coordinate between branches and central accounts
• Manage high-volume transactions and multiple revenue streams

Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Ability to handle multiple branches/accounts (preferred)
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills
• Preferably Master’s degree in Finance
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience
• Professional certification (e.g., ACCA) is preferred
• Must be fluent in English; Arabic is preferred
• Experience with accounting software and Excel
• Experience with ERP software such as Zoho, Tally, and QuickBooks
