Safety Officer — Short-Term Project (30 days) — Jeddah (South Terminal, Airport)

Position: Safety Officer (Temporary / 30 days)
Location: South Terminal, Jeddah Airport
Pickup / Drop-off: Sabeen Street
Duration: 30 days (short-term)
Salary: 3,000 SAR (for the month)
Start: Immediate (or specify start date)

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Safety Officer on construction projects.
Strong knowledge of safety standards and regulations relevant to construction and airport works.
Certified in scaffolding erection (valid certificate required).
Competent and experienced in:
Working-at-height safety and fall protection systems
Hot works permit procedures and supervision
Developing and enforcing safe work procedures and risk assessments
Able to liaise with site management, contractors, and airport authorities.
Valid Saudi Iqama or legal work authorization to work in Saudi Arabia.
Based in Jeddah and available for the full 30-day assignment.
Good communication skills in English and/or Arabic preferred.
Responsibilities:

Enforce site safety rules and ensure compliance with applicable standards.
Conduct daily safety inspections, toolbox talks, and safety briefings.
Issue and manage hot works permits and verify controls.
Supervise scaffolding erection activities and verify competency/certification of crews.
Monitor and enforce fall-protection measures and safe access/egress for work at height.
Prepare incident/near-miss reports and recommend corrective actions.
Maintain daily safety records and submit progress reports to the Project Manager.
