Description

Job Purpose

To support the Purchasing Manager in executing local and international procurement activities, following up with suppliers, ensuring accuracy of documentation, and monitoring logistics processes until goods are delivered to the warehouse in line with approved timelines and cost

Key Responsibilities

Prepare purchase orders based on Purchasing Manager instructions
Follow up on delivery schedules and agreed quantities to ensure compliance
Track international shipments from booking until arrival at the warehouse
Prepare and review import documents (Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin)
Coordinate with freight forwarders and customs brokers regarding clearance documentation
Monitor receipt of goods and ensure quantities and specifications match purchase orders
Update procurement and shipment data in ERP systems or Excel
Prepare reports on open orders and incoming shipments
Maintain proper filing and organization of procurement and import documents
Report any shortages or damages in shipments to the Purchasing Manager
Coordinate with warehouse team regarding expected items and arrival timelines

Qualifications & Requirements

2–4 years of experience in procurement or supply chain
Knowledge of import procedures and customs clearance
Experience handling international shipping documents
Strong organizational and follow-up skills
Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems
Good command of both English and Arabic
