Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our logistics company in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of basic accounting principles, along with hands-on experience in VAT filing and knowledge of the Zakat system in Saudi Arabia. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow their career in accounting within a dynamic business environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate financial records and ensure all transactions are properly recorded

Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

Handle accounts payable and receivable processes

Prepare and file VAT returns in compliance with Saudi regulations

Assist with Zakat calculations and filings

Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow

Support audits by providing required documentation and reports

Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and company policies

Assist senior accountants with daily accounting tasks

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

1–3 years of relevant accounting experience (preferably in Saudi Arabia)

Strong knowledge of VAT regulations and Zakat system

Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, or similar)

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Good communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in the logistics or supply chain industry

Knowledge of Saudi financial regulations and compliance requirements
