Executive Summary:
A well-established and forward-growing contracting company, recognized for delivering sophisticated commercial environments. As we continue to scale our operations in Al Khobar, we are seeking a highly technical and leadership-oriented HVAC Engineer. This role is critical in ensuring our mechanical systems meet the highest global standards of efficiency, comfort, and regulatory compliance.

The Mandate:
The successful candidate will oversee the full lifecycle of HVAC systems within complex retail and commercial infrastructures. You will be responsible for bridging the gap between sophisticated design and flawless site execution, ensuring all mechanical installations are optimized for the Saudi Arabian climate and architectural constraints.

Core Responsibilities:
- Engineering Design & Validation: Review and approve comprehensive HVAC shop drawings, ductwork designs, and piping schematics.
- Thermal Analysis: Perform rigorous heat load calculations using HAP or Carrier software to ensure peak system performance and energy efficiency.
- Project Oversight: Manage the end-to-end installation of DX systems, AHUs, FCUs, and VAVs, maintaining a zero-compromise approach to quality and safety.
- Multi-Disciplinary Coordination: Lead technical meetings to resolve spatial clashes with Civil, Electrical, and Firefighting trades, ensuring seamless MEP integration.
- Regulatory & Code Compliance: Ensure all mechanical works strictly adhere to the Saudi Building Code (SBC), ASHRAE standards, and SEEC (Saudi Energy Efficiency Center) regulations.
- Commissioning & Handover: Execute final Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing (TAB) protocols to ensure systems are fully operational and documented for client handover.

Professional Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or A related field.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in HVAC engineering, with a proven track record in Tier-1 commercial fit-outs or mall-based retail projects.
- Licensure: Active membership with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) is mandatory.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced command of AutoCAD and HAP. Proficiency in Revit (BIM) is highly desirable.
- Local Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of KSA municipal regulations and Eastern Province mall-specific technical requirements.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional command of English; strong negotiation skills for managing subcontractors and coordinating with consultants.
