Job Title: Warehouse Incharge

Reporting To: Warehouse Manager

Job Summary:

The Warehouse Incharge is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, and dispatch of goods. The role ensures accurate stock management, timely order fulfillment, and compliance with company policies and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Inventory Management

Maintain accurate inventory records (raw materials, packaging materials, finished goods).

Monitor stock levels and report shortages or overstock situations.

Conduct regular physical stock counts and cycle counts.

Ensure proper stock rotation (FIFO / FEFO where applicable).

2. Receiving & Storage

Supervise receipt of incoming materials and verify against purchase orders.

Inspect goods for damages or discrepancies.

Ensure proper labeling and organized storage of materials.

Maintain warehouse cleanliness and proper storage conditions.

3. Dispatch & Delivery

Coordinate order preparation and dispatch according to approved invoices.

Ensure correct packing, documentation, and delivery notes.

Coordinate with logistics and transport teams for timely delivery.

4. Team Supervision

Supervise warehouse staff and laborers.

Assign daily tasks and monitor performance.

Ensure discipline, safety compliance, and proper use of equipment.

5. Documentation & ERP

Update stock transactions in ERP system.

Maintain GRN (Goods Receipt Note), delivery notes, and transfer documents.

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports.

6. Safety & Compliance

Ensure compliance with company safety policies.

Maintain proper storage of chemicals, perfumes, or flammable materials (if applicable).

Ensure fire safety standards are followed.
