Description

nspections: Conduct internal and external visual inspections to check for structural defects, corrosion, or leaks.
Testing: Perform Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), such as ultrasonic, radiographic, or magnetic particle inspections.
Compliance & Standards: Ensure tanks meet safety standards, such as API 650 (construction) or API 653 (inspection/repair).
Documentation: Prepare detailed inspection reports, maintain maintenance records, and review welding records or Material Test Reports (MTR).
Coordination: Collaborate with maintenance teams and engineers to advise on repairs, upgrades, or operational safety.

Requirements
Certifications: Often require API 653 (Aboveground Storage Tank Inspector), API 510, or equivalent certifications.
Experience: Previous experience in the oil & gas industry or industrial maintenance.
Technical Skills: Ability to interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding specifications.


Knowledge: Familiarity with safety, environmental regulations, and standards (e.g., ASME, API, NACE).
