Description

Key Responsibilities
Machine Operation & Setup: Configure and operate laser machines by loading programs, setting lenses, adjusting focus, and selecting parameters (gas, speed, power) based on material type/thickness.
Production & Quality: Cut components following blueprints, CAD files, or, work orders while monitoring for accuracy and ensuring minimal waste.
Maintenance & Inspection: Perform routine maintenance (chiller checks, lens cleaning) and measure finished parts using tools like calipers to meet specifications.
Safety & Organization: Adhere to all safety protocols (PPE), maintain a clean work area, and manage raw material inventory.
Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve machine faults or production issues, reporting, major issues to maintenance.
Requirements
Experience: 1–3+ years of experience with CNC laser cutting machinery (especially Fiber Lasers).
Technical Skills: Ability to read blueprints, engineering drawings, and CAD files.
Physical Stamina: Capable of lifting 50+ pounds, standing for long hours, and working in a manufacturing environment.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification/diploma in manufacturing is often preferred.
Required Skills
Attention to Detail: Precision in inspecting parts.
Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of laser cutting technology and software.
Time Management: Ability to meet production goals.
