Description

Key Responsibilities
Inspections: Conduct visual inspections of piping fabrication and installation, including fit-up, dimensional checks, and supporting systems.
Welding/NDT: Monitor welding activities, verify welder qualifications, and review Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) reports.
Compliance & Standards: Ensure compliance with Saudi Aramco Materials System Specifications (SAMSS), Engineering Procedures (SAEP), and Standards (SAES).
Material Verification: Perform incoming material inspections to verify compliance with specifications and traceability.
Testing: Witness pressure testing (hydrostatic/pneumatic) and monitor pre-commissioning activities.
Documentation: Prepare daily inspection reports, punch lists, and maintain turnover packages.
Requirements

Approval: Mandatory, valid Aramco approval as a Piping Inspector.
Certification: Passed Aramco Computer-Based Test (CBT).
Experience: Generally 5–8+ years in piping inspection within the Oil & Gas industry.
Education: Typically a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of ASME B31.3 (Process Piping), API 570 (Piping Inspection Code), and ASTM standards.
