Key Responsibilities

Plan and manage material requirements based on production schedules, forecasts, and sales demand

Ensure timely availability of raw materials, components, and packaging materials

Monitor inventory levels to avoid shortages, excess stock, or obsolescence

Create and maintain purchase requisitions and follow up with procurement teams

Coordinate with production, warehouse, and logistics teams to align material flow

Track supplier lead times and delivery performance

Manage material master data and planning parameters in ERP systems (e.g., SAP)

Analyze demand trends and recommend inventory optimization strategies

Prepare material planning reports and KPIs for management review

Support audits, cycle counts, and stock reconciliation activities

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field

Freshers are welcome to apply

Strong knowledge of inventory management and MRP concepts

Hands-on Basic knowledge with ERP systems (SAP preferred)

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Good communication and coordination skills

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Proficient in MS Excel and reporting tools
