Description

🛠 Job Responsibilities

Operate, inspect, and maintain drilling rig mechanical equipment, including top drive, drawworks, mud pumps, generators, compressors, etc.Mechanical Engineer – Drilling Rig

Diagnose and repair mechanical failures to minimize downtime and ensure continuous drilling operations.

Implement preventive maintenance plans and ensure compliance with company and Saudi Aramco HSE standards.

Supervise mechanical technicians and provide on-the-job training and guidance.

Maintain maintenance records, prepare reports, and provide technical recommendations.

Manage spare parts inventory and support cost control and budgeting activities.

Support rig mobilization/demobilization (Rig Up / Rig Down) and equipment installation.

🎓 Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Minimum 5 years of mechanical experience in drilling rigs, with at least 2 years in Saudi Arabia.

Strong knowledge of drilling rig equipment and maintenance systems.

Good communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.

Valid Saudi Iqama or transferable sponsorship preferred.

Ability to work under pressure and in rotational shifts at remote sites.
