Environmental Coordinator

Qualifications & Requirements
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science / Graduate Engineering or Diploma in Environmental studies
• Experience: 5–10 years of experience, with at least 4 years on Saudi Aramco projects.
• Must be Aramco Approved
• Knowledge: Deep familiarity with Saudi Aramco’s Schedule G (Environmental Requirements) and ISO 14001:2015 standards.
• Skills: Strong technical writing for reports and the ability to interface effectively with Aramco EPD representatives.

Key Responsibilities
1. Regulatory Compliance & Planning
• Develop, implement, and maintain the project-specific Construction Environmental Management Plan (CEMP) and Waste Management Plan (WMP).
• Ensure all site activities align with Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards (e.g., SAES-A-103, SAES-A-114) and the Aramco Environmental Protection Policy.
• Secure and manage necessary environmental permits (e.g., for borrow pits, hydrotesting water discharge, and waste disposal).
2. Field Monitoring & Inspections
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure dust control, spill prevention, and proper hazardous material storage.
• Oversee environmental monitoring programs, including air quality, noise levels, and soil/water sampling as required by the contract.
• Manage the "Red/Yellow/Green" environmental performance reporting system mandated by Aramco.
3. Waste & Resource Management
• Supervise the segregation, labeling, and storage of hazardous and non-hazardous waste.
• Coordinate with Aramco-approved waste contractors for the safe transport and disposal of industrial waste.
• Manage the Chemical Inventory and ensure all chemicals have valid Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS/SDS).
4. Incident Management & Reporting
• Lead investigations into environmental incidents (e.g., oil spills or unauthorized clearing) and prepare Root Cause Analysis (RCA) reports.
• Prepare and submit Monthly Environmental Reports to the Saudi Aramco Project Management Team (SAPMT) and Environmental Protection Department (EPD).
• Maintain the Environmental Aspect and Impact Register.
5. Training & Awareness
• Deliver environmental inductions and specialized training (e.g., Spill Kit usage, Waste Segregation) to all workers and subcontractors.
• Conduct "Environmental Tool Box Talks" to address site-specific risks such as desert ecology protection or archaeological find procedures.

This is an immediate position. Candidates who are available to join within one month with transferrable Iqama are highly preferred.
