Description

We are seeking a hands-on Mechanical Supervisor to lead our onsite technical team. You will be responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems, ensuring all onsite operations are completed safely, on time, and to high technical standards.

The ideal candidate is a problem-solver with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of heavy machinery. Specific experience with belt conveyor systems is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities
Onsite Leadership: Supervise a team of technicians and millwrights, assigning daily tasks and ensuring quality control.

Conveyor Maintenance: Oversee the inspection, alignment, and splicing of belt conveyors, including rollers, pulleys, motors, and gearboxes.

Project Oversight: Manage onsite mechanical installations and upgrades from start to finish.

Safety Compliance: Enforce strict HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) protocols and ensure all work meets industrial safety standards.

Troubleshooting: Diagnose mechanical failures and implement immediate, effective solutions to minimize downtime.

Reporting: Maintain accurate logs of maintenance activities, spare parts inventory, and team performance.
