Description

Academic and professional qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree of BE or BS of Mechanical engineering from four-year college or organization or equivalent.

Experience:
More than 3 Yrs experience as Engineer, Piping in similar plant.

Working Hours :
8 hours a day, 5 days a week.

Technical Skills:

• Good communication skills for providing work instructions.
• Software skills like Microsoft Office, Auto CAD, Cesar Software and Codes, Standards of RC, HCISS etc.

Job Responsibilities:
The Engineer, Piping , reports to Manager, is responsible for designing and developing piping systems . He shall be responsible for carrying out the assigned tasks independently and shall update to Manager. Decision Making required during the execution and reviewing task shall be taken by him with the updates to team . Receive PTW for the job , check the working conditions on the jobs , close the PTW after good housekeeping on job and updates the history of job in SAP and closes the work order. He shall be familiar with the Codes and Standards of Mechanical & Piping Design and shall have the certificate of these standards including the Stress Analysis requirements. He shall be familiar with the various software’s of Mechanical Design like Cesar for Stress Analysis, Piping Standards, Codes, Equipment’s GAD, Isometric Drawing Preparation, VMS, PMS of Mechanical Design, Preparation of Data Sheets, Project Management and Cost Control of the Execution. Tasks are multiple and diverse with some interrelationships across processes. Handles some unrelated functions. Work requires the direct application of a variety of procedures, policies, and/or precedents. May monitor budget activities but no responsibility for budget and expenditure authority.
