Urgent Hiring – Switchgear Testing Engineer
Dear Applicant,
We are Cabling Middle East Manufacturing Company, based in Jubail, Saudi Arabia, and we are currently hiring for an urgent requirement.
• Location: Saudi Arabia
• Joining: Immediate / Short Notice Preferred
• Position: Switchgear Testing Engineer (MV & LV)
Key Responsibilities:
• FAT & SAT testing of Medium Voltage (MV) and Low Voltage (LV) switchgear
• Testing and commissioning of Circuit Breakers, CTs, VTs, protection relays, and meters
• Protection relay configuration, logic verification & secondary injection testing
• HV withstand, IR, functional & mechanical operation tests
• Interpretation of electrical drawings and schematics
• Testing as per customer-approved ITPs
• Site troubleshooting, commissioning & handover support
Applicable Standards:
• IEC 62271-200 – Medium Voltage Switchgear
• IEC 61439-1 & 2 – Low Voltage Switchgear Assemblies
Candidate Requirements:
• Diploma / BE / BTech in Electrical Engineering
• 3–7 years of hands-on experience in switchgear testing & commissioning
• Experience with ABB / Siemens / Schneider / GE / Eaton switchgear preferred
• Proficiency with relay testing equipment (OMICRON / Megger / equivalent)
• Ability to mobilize quickly for site work
• Valid Iqama & Saudi driving license (preferred but not mandatory)
