1)X-Ray Technician (Airport Operations)

Position: X-Ray Technician
Location: Airport
Experience: 1–3 years (Airport environment preferred)
Qualification:

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field

Additional certification in X-Ray systems or security screening is an advantage

Job Summary:

We are looking for skilled X-Ray Technicians to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot airport security screening equipment. The ideal candidate should have previous experience working in an airport environment and hands-on exposure to X-Ray screening machines.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate X-Ray screening machines and ensure smooth passenger and baggage screening.

Perform routine checks, calibration, and preventive maintenance on X-Ray equipment.

Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate with technical teams for repairs.

Ensure compliance with airport safety and security standards.

Prepare reports on machine performance, faults, and maintenance activities.

Assist in training security staff on the proper use of X-Ray machines.

Preferred Experience:

Previous work experience at an airport security department or with X-Ray screening systems.

Experience working with Smiths Detection, Rapiscan, L3, or similar security screening machines.

Knowledge of safety protocols related to radiation and airport operations.

Skills Required:

Strong understanding of X-Ray machine operation.

Basic electronics troubleshooting skills.

Attention to detail and good communication skills.

Ability to work under pressure in a fast-moving airport environment.

2. Field Service Engineer (Airport Security Equipment)

Position: Field Service Engineer
Location: Airport / On-site
Experience: 2–5 years (Airport or similar environments preferred)
Qualification:

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or related field

Technical certifications in equipment servicing are an added advantage

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, maintain, and service airport security machines and related electronic equipment. Candidates with experience handling Smiths Detection, Rapiscan, or similar systems will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and commission airport security equipment (X-Ray machines, scanners, metal detectors, ETDs, etc.).

Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.

Diagnose and repair electrical/electronic faults in machines.

Provide on-site technical support and respond to service calls at the airport.

Maintain accurate service logs, maintenance reports, and calibration records.

Coordinate with OEMs and vendors for spare parts and technical support.

Ensure compliance with airport safety standards while working on equipment.

Preferred Experience:

Experience working in an airport environment or with government security equipment.

Hands-on experience with Smiths Detection, Rapiscan, L3, CEIA, or similar equipment.

Strong background in electronics troubleshooting and field engineering tasks.

Skills Required:

Excellent knowledge of electrical and electronic systems.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Ability to read schematics and technical manuals.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to work independently and handle emergency breakdowns.
