Welding Supervisor – Requirements

Position: Welding Supervisor
Industry: Pipeline / Industrial Projects

✅ Job Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Welding Engineering or equivalent.

CSWIP 3.1 / AWS Certified Welding Supervisor (CWS) – mandatory.

8–12 years of welding experience with 3–5 years in a supervisory role.

Strong knowledge of SMAW, GTAW, FCAW, SAW welding processes.

Experience in pipeline welding (5G/6G), structural steel, and pressure piping.

Familiar with WPS, PQR, WPQ and welding procedure control.

Knowledge of ASME Section IX, API 1104, AWS D1.1 standards.

Ability to supervise welders and ensure quality, productivity, and safety.

Coordinate with QC inspectors, fabrication supervisors, and engineers.

Ensure welding activities comply with approved procedures and drawings.

Experience with Aramco / SABIC / SEC projects preferred.
