Description

We are seeking an experienced Civil / Construction Supervisor with a strong background in managing civil works within SABIC or ARAMCO industrial plants. The ideal candidate will oversee site construction activities, ensure compliance with company and client standards, and coordinate with project teams to achieve safe, timely, and high-quality execution of all civil works.

Key Responsibilities
Site Supervision & Execution

Supervise and monitor all civil and structural activities on site, ensuring work is performed according to drawings, specifications, and project standards.

Coordinate daily tasks with subcontractors, site teams, and other disciplines to ensure smooth workflow.

Review and interpret shop drawings, method statements, and work procedures.

Ensure proper manpower, equipment, and materials are available for scheduled tasks.

SABIC / ARAMCO Standards & Compliance

Ensure full compliance with SABIC/ARAMCO safety, quality, and construction requirements.

Verify that all site works follow approved ITPs, QCPs, and client-specific procedures.

Prepare and submit work permits (e.g., PTW) and coordinate with client inspectors for approvals.

Support and facilitate SABIC/ARAMCO inspections, audits, and walkthroughs.

Safety & Quality Assurance

Enforce safety protocols, toolbox talks, hazard identification, and risk control at the worksite.

Ensure all workers have valid IDs, certifications, and required PPE before starting work.

Monitor work quality and ensure corrective actions are implemented when needed.

Report near misses, incidents, and unsafe conditions immediately.

Planning & Coordination

Prepare daily progress reports, work schedules, material requests, and site documentation.

Coordinate civil works with mechanical, electrical, and other disciplines to avoid conflicts.

Follow up on pending approvals, material deliveries, and client clearances.

Attend coordination meetings and provide updates on work status and challenges.

Technical Support & Problem Solving

Provide technical guidance to foremen, technicians, and workers on site.

Assist in resolving construction issues, design discrepancies, and site constraints.

Recommend improvements to enhance productivity, safety, and quality.

Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

Mandatory: Minimum 3–7 years of experience working in SABIC or ARAMCO plants.

Strong knowledge of civil construction works, industrial plant standards, and project documentation.

Familiarity with construction codes, specifications, PTW systems, and safety practices.

Ability to read drawings, prepare reports, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.

Proficiency in MS Office and basic site management tools.
