1. Position Overview

Seeking highly skilled Argon/GTAW (TIG) Welders with Aramco approval or the ability to qualify according to Aramco welding standards. The welder will perform precision welding on stainless steel, carbon steel, alloy materials, and high-pressure piping systems using Argon (TIG) processes.

2. Key Responsibilities

Perform TIG (GTAW) welding on pipes, plates, and structural materials.

Weld stainless steel (SS), carbon steel (CS), alloy steel, and thin materials with precision.

Read and interpret isometric drawings, P&IDs, and welding symbols.

Prepare joints, conduct fit-up, root pass, fill, and cap according to WPS/PQR.

Maintain weld quality conforming to SAES-W-01, SAES-W-11, and Aramco project standards.

Coordinate with QC for NDT processes (RT, PT, UT, MT).

Ensure safe work practices and adhere to all Aramco/Saudi safety regulations.

Maintain tools, TIG machines, purging equipment, and consumables.

3. Required Certifications

Aramco Welder Approval Code (if applying for Aramco projects).

ASME Section IX certification in GTAW.

Experience in 6G, 6GR, stainless steel TIG welding (as required).

HSE Certificates: H2S, Firefighting, First Aid (preferred).

4. Skills & Experience

3–7 years experience as a professional TIG/Argon welder.

Proficiency in purging techniques, thin-wall pipe welding, and orbital welding (optional).

Strong control of heat input and distortion on thin materials.

Familiarity with oil & gas, petrochemical, or refinery environments.

5. Personal Attributes

High attention to detail and weld accuracy.

Strong safety awareness.

Ability to work in high-temperature environments and confined spaces.

Good teamwork and communication.
