COST ENGINEER RQUIRED

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
• 05 Years

SALARY PACKAGE
• Basic: 5000-6000
• H&T Allowance: 35%

RESPONSIBILITIES:...
• Project Budgeting and Forecasting:
Creating detailed budgets, cost-to-complete forecasts, and annual spend projections by gathering and analyzing cost data.
• Cost Monitoring and Control:
Tracking actual project costs, monitoring progress, and implementing processes to control expenditures throughout all project stages.
• Cost Analysis and Reporting:
Analyzing financial data, identifying variances, and preparing regular reports for management and stakeholders.
• Cost Saving and Risk Management:
Identifying opportunities for cost savings and developing strategies to mitigate risks and prevent cost overruns.
• Estimating and Change Orders:
Conducting cost research, preparing detailed cost estimates, and reviewing change orders.
• Collaboration:
Working closely with project managers, engineers, procurement teams, and contractors to ensure financial goals are met.

KEY SKILLS:
• Technical Knowledge
A strong understanding of engineering design principles, cost-estimating methods, CAPEX approval cycle and relevant industries (e.g., construction, manufacturing).

• Analytical Skills
The ability to analyze complex financial data, identify trends, and make informed recommendations.

• Software Proficiency
Expertise in SAP PS, project management software (e.g., Primavera P6), spreadsheet programs (e.g., Microsoft Excel), and business intelligence tools.

• Education
A bachelor's degree in engineering.

• Communication
Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with various project teams.
