Position: Safety Officer
Department: HSE
Location: Project Site (Madinah)
Reports to: HSE Manager / Project Manager
Responsibilities
Implement and monitor project Safety Plan, HSE procedures and client requirements.
Conduct daily site inspections and identify unsafe acts/conditions.
Prepare and submit safety reports, checklists, and toolbox talk records.
Ensure all workers use proper PPE and follow safety guidelines.
Conduct safety inductions for new workers and subcontractors.
Ensure compliance with Saudi Aramco / RC / NEOM / local regulations (as applicable).
Coordinate with site team for incident/near-miss reporting and investigate root causes.
Verify lifting plans, work permits, scaffolding approvals, and equipment certifications.
Stop work immediately if unsafe conditions are observed.
Requirements
Diploma/Degree in Engineering or related field.
NEBOSH IGC, OSHA, IOSH or equivalent certification.
Minimum 3–5 years’ construction/HSE experience.
Good communication and reporting skills.
