QC Supervisor – Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I)

Location: Onshore/Offshore
Approval: Aramco Approved (if required)
Experience: Minimum 5–8 years in E&I QA/QC field

Job Summary

The QC Supervisor (Electrical & Instrumentation) is responsible for supervising and managing all quality control activities related to electrical and instrumentation works. Ensures that all project execution complies with project specifications, international standards, and client (e.g., Aramco) requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise QC Electrical & Instrument Inspectors and ensure all quality requirements are met.

Review and approve electrical & instrumentation Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, and Quality Procedures.

Conduct inspections for installation of cable trays, cables, grounding, lighting, panels, junction boxes, motors, and E&I equipment.

Oversee instrumentation installations including transmitters, control valves, analyzers, loop checks, and calibration works.

Verify compliance with standards such as IEC, NEC, IEEE, and Aramco standards.

Coordinate with construction, engineering, and client inspectors for inspection clearance.

Review Material Inspection Reports (MIRs), Work Inspection Requests (WIRs), and ensure proper documentation.

Monitor testing activities including megger testing, continuity tests, loop testing, function tests, pre-commissioning & commissioning inspections.

Ensure corrective actions are implemented for NCRs, observations, and quality issues.

Maintain all QA/QC records for project handover.

Prepare daily QC reports and ensure quality compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications & Skills

Diploma/Degree in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering.
Aramco CBT/Approval (if required).
Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures and international E&I standards.
Experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, or power plant projects.

Ability to read engineering drawings (SLD, loop diagrams, wiring diagrams, P&ID).

Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Strong reporting and documentation capabilit
