We're Hiring: High Voltage Electrical Engineer – Jazan, Saudi Arabia ????????
Join a world-class industrial initiative in Jazan, supporting one of the region’s most advanced integrated gasification and power generation complexes. This is a high-impact opportunity for an experienced Electrical Engineer to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of critical power systems in a large-scale energy infrastructure environment.

About the Role
As a High Voltage Electrical Engineer, you’ll be part of a multidisciplinary site engineering team responsible for overseeing the performance, safety, and reliability of high, medium, and low voltage electrical systems across a complex facility. You’ll provide hands-on technical support, lead engineering evaluations, and collaborate with operations, maintenance, and project teams to drive excellence in power systems management.

Key Responsibilities
???? Engineering & Technical Oversight
• Lead troubleshooting, maintenance, calibration, and testing of HV/MV/LV electrical systems.
• Provide engineering input during construction, commissioning, and turnaround activities.
• Develop specifications for electrical and control systems equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety systems including SIL, SIS, CSS, and SIF protocols.
• Conduct engineering studies: short circuit, load flow, protection coordination, transient stability, and grounding.

???? Compliance & Quality Assurance
• Maintain adherence to local regulations, industry codes (API, ISA, NEC/IEC, NFPA, ASME), and internal standards.
• Manage risk-based inspection and calibration programs.
• Liaise with inspection bureaus and ensure document control and QA initiatives.
???? Leadership & Collaboration
• Mentor and support junior engineers.
• Foster teamwork and open communication across departments.
• Build relationships with suppliers and external stakeholders.
• Promote continuous improvement in safety, reliability, and cost performance.

Qualifications & Experience
✅ Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
✅ 10+ years of experience in power plants or industrial facilities
✅ Expertise in:
• Switchgears, transformers, MCCs, ATS, VFDs, motors, grounding systems
• Protection relay configuration (SEL, Siemens, Beckwith, Alstom)
• SPPA T3000 and Honeywell DCS (preferred) ✅ Strong understanding of SCADA, SIL, SIS, and SIF principles
✅ Experience in FEL/FEED project development
✅ Familiarity with Saudi Aramco standards (preferred)
✅ Excellent communication, planning, and leadership skills
✅ Fluent in English (spoken and written)
