Job Summary:

The Quality Controller is responsible for ensuring that all trailers manufactured meet the company’s quality standards and customer specifications. This role involves inspecting raw materials, in-process production, and finished trailers to identify any defects or deviations from quality standards. The Quality Controller also ensures compliance with ISO, safety, and industry-specific standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct inspection of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished trailers to ensure compliance with design drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

Monitor and verify welding, fabrication, painting, assembly, and finishing processes for quality compliance.

Identify and record any non-conformities, prepare inspection reports, and coordinate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) with production teams.

Ensure calibration and proper use of measuring tools and inspection equipment.

Perform final inspection and functional testing of trailers before dispatch.

Verify compliance with ISO 9001, safety, and customer requirements.

Assist in root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions to prevent recurring defects.

Maintain quality records, inspection logs, and documentation for audits.

Provide feedback to the production team to improve processes, workmanship, and quality awareness.

Participate in internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
