Purpose of the role:
The purpose of the role is to monitor swimmers and aquatic activities in pools, beaches, or water parks by ensuring safety, responding to emergencies, and enforcing water safety rules. This aims to prevent accidents and promote a safe and enjoyable aquatic environment for patrons and guests, while aligning with project requirements and consistently upholding a culture of safety, efficiency, and quality.
The role includes but is not limited to:
• Patrol and monitor the swimming pool area, stairwells, toilet facilities, and other public and unsupervised areas to ensure guest and resident safety and well-being
• Control access to restricted areas according to property guidelines and standing instructions
• Identify and address potential accident hazards
• Handle lost & found reporting and procedures
• Remain vigilant to prevent incidents and accidents
• Enforce pool rules consistently
• Address disciplinary situations with courtesy and fairness
• Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies, following established management procedures
• Administer first aid and CPR as needed
• Foster positive public relations with a professional, courteous, and tactful demeanor
• Follow established substitution procedures as required
• Complete and maintain appropriate reports
• Monitor pH and chlorine levels if necessary
• Keep emergency contact numbers for local authorities readily available
• Know when and how to engage local authorities
• Maintain high standards of personal grooming

Qualification / Experience

Education
• Minimum 10th pass with – DM certified
Experience
• 1-2 years
Knowledge & Key Skills
• Lifeguarding and first aid certification
• Strong swimming skills and water rescue abilities
• Alertness and vigilance
• Communication and teamwork
• Physical fitness and stamina
