Dear All,

We have an urgent requirement for a BIM Coordinator.


Details as follows:

Position - BIM Coordinator

Duration - Long Term

Location - Jeddah

Basic Duties and Responsibilities as follows:



Model Coordination:

1. Combine models from different disciplines (architectural, structural, MEP) into a unified BIM model.

Identify and resolve clashes/conflicts between systems using tools like Navisworks or Solibri.

2. BIM Standards and Protocols:

Ensure all models and drawings follow the project’s BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and industry standards.

Maintain naming conventions, file structures, and version control.

3. Collaboration and Communication:

Act as a bridge between architects, engineers, contractors, and clients.

Facilitate coordination meetings and provide technical support on BIM processes.

4. Model Quality Control:

Audit models for completeness, accuracy, and compliance.

Monitor file sizes, geometry, and information levels (LOD – Level of Detail/Development).

5. Data Management:

Ensure correct information is embedded in the model (for scheduling, cost estimation, facilities management).

Manage linked files, references, and data exchange formats.

6. Training and Support:

Assist team members in using BIM tools like Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, ArchiCAD, etc.

Provide training or support documentation if needed.
