Job Description:
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving the growth of our heavy equipment rental business by identifying new business opportunities, developing relationships with clients, and creating strategic plans to increase revenue. The role requires a strong understanding of the construction and industrial sectors, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to manage complex sales cycles.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and develop new business opportunities in the heavy equipment rental market.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and industry stakeholders.

Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet or exceed revenue targets.

Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform business strategies.

Prepare and present proposals, contracts, and sales reports to management.

Collaborate with operations and logistics teams to ensure service delivery meets client expectations.

Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.

MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is a plus.

Experience Requirements:

Minimum 5–7 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in heavy equipment rental, construction, or industrial sectors.

Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.

Strong knowledge of the heavy equipment market and rental operations.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
