Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring compliance with Saudi accounting standards and VAT regulations, and supporting financial reporting, budgeting, and audits.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage general ledger operations and ensure accuracy of all accounting entries.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with local regulations (SOCPA/IFRS).

Ensure timely closing of accounts and reporting to management.

Oversee accounts payable and receivable, payroll, bank reconciliations, and intercompany transactions.

Prepare and file VAT returns and ensure compliance with ZATCA (Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority) regulations.

Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.

Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits.

Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies and Saudi financial regulations.

Supervise and mentor junior accountants.

Support implementation and maintenance of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree or CPA/CA/ACCA is a plus).

Minimum 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior role.

Strong knowledge of SOCPA/IFRS standards and Saudi tax laws (VAT, Zakat).

Proficiency in accounting software and ERP system or zoho

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Fluent in English (Arabic is an advantage).

Preferred Skills:

Experience working in a multinational or large local organization in Saudi Arabia.

Strong leadership and team management abilities.

High level of integrity and attention to detail.
