Job Summary:
A Rigger III is responsible for performing advanced rigging activities to lift, move, and position heavy equipment, machinery, and materials safely and efficiently. This role involves interpreting complex load charts, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and supervising junior riggers during lifting operations. Rigger III typically works on construction sites, oil & gas facilities, shipyards, or industrial plants.

Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and execute complex rigging and lifting operations.
Select, inspect, and use rigging equipment such as slings, shackles, spreader bars, and hoists.
Interpret load charts, engineering drawings, and lifting plans to ensure safe operations.
Calculate load weights, center of gravity, and required lifting capacities.
Direct crane operators and signalers during lifts.
Ensure compliance with company, industry, and regulatory safety standards.
Supervise and provide guidance to junior riggers and rigging crews.
Conduct daily inspections of rigging gear and maintain accurate records.
Report and address potential hazards and unsafe conditions immediately.
Assist in training new rigging staff on proper lifting and safety practices.
