Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Plumber to install, maintain, and repair piping systems in residential, commercial, or industrial buildings. The ideal candidate has experience working with water supply lines, waste disposal systems, appliances, and fixtures, and is committed to delivering high-quality, code-compliant work.

Key Responsibilities:

Interpret blueprints and building specifications to map layout for pipes, drainage systems, and other plumbing materials.

Install and maintain water supply systems, sanitary systems, and related appliances and fixtures.

Inspect plumbing systems and identify issues such as leaks, clogs, or malfunctions.

Repair or replace broken or worn plumbing parts using hand and power tools.

Test plumbing systems for safety and functionality.

Cut, assemble, and install pipes using proper materials (e.g., copper, PVC, PEX, steel).

Ensure all installations and repairs are in compliance with local plumbing codes and regulations.

Collaborate with contractors, electricians, and other construction professionals when needed.

Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and hours worked.

Provide estimates for jobs and communicate clearly with clients or supervisors.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Completion of a plumbing apprenticeship program.

Valid plumbing license (as required by local or state regulations).

Proven experience as a plumber in residential or commercial settings.

Strong knowledge of water distribution and waste disposal systems.

Ability to work independently or with a team.

Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Physical strength and stamina to handle demanding tasks.

Preferred Certifications:

Journeyman or Master Plumber License

OSHA 10/30 Certification

Backflow Prevention Certification (if applicable)

First Aid/CPR

Working Conditions:

Work may be performed indoors or outdoors, often in cramped spaces or at heights.

May require lifting heavy materials, standing for long periods, and working in varying weather conditions.

Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.

Work schedules may include evenings, weekends, or emergency call-outs.
