Description

Key Responsibilities

Operate JCB equipment for excavation, loading, leveling, and material transport.

Perform daily inspection and maintenance checks (oil, fuel, hydraulics, tires).

Ensure safe and efficient machine handling to avoid accidents and damage.

Assist in site preparation, trenching, roadwork, and loading/unloading materials.

Report mechanical issues or breakdowns immediately to the maintenance team.

Follow site safety rules, traffic management, and PPE requirements.

Support other site tasks when machinery is not in use.

Requirements

Valid Heavy Equipment Operator license (if required by local authority).

Minimum 5 years of proven experience operating JCB/backhoe loaders.

Knowledge of construction site safety practices.

Ability to conduct basic maintenance and troubleshooting.

Physically fit and willing to work in challenging site conditions.
