Job Summary
The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and supporting the financial operations of the company. The role requires strong knowledge of Saudi accounting standards, proficiency in financial software, and the ability to work in a fast-paced IT environment.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in compliance with Saudi GAAP and IFRS.

Bookkeeping: Manage day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and reconciliations.

Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with Saudi tax regulations, including ZATCA requirements, VAT filings, and withholding tax obligations.

Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in preparing annual budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making.

Payroll Management: Process payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with Saudi labor laws and regulations.

Audit Support: Coordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits and ensure adherence to financial controls and procedures.

Financial Analysis: Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data to improve cost efficiency and profitability.

Software Utilization: Use accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks) and ERP systems to streamline financial processes.

Compliance and Risk Management: Monitor and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with local laws.

Collaboration: Work closely with the IT and project management teams to track project budgets, costs, and profitability.

Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or ACCA are highly preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the IT or technology sector in Saudi Arabia.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Experience with ERP systems is a plus.

Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of Saudi tax laws, ZATCA regulations, VAT, and financial compliance requirements.

Language Skills: Fluency in English and Arabic (written and spoken).

Soft Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, time management, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the IT industry and project-based accounting is an advantage.

Requirements
Must be based in or willing to relocate to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Knowledge of Saudi labor laws and financial regulations.

Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.

Strong communication skills to liaise with cross-functional teams.
