-- Job Purpose:
The Landscaping Engineer will be responsible for the maintenance, beautification, and sustainable upkeep of all outdoor spaces, gardens, and green areas. This role ensures that the grounds reflect a clean, professional image and comply with hygiene and safety standards required for any facility.

- Key Responsibilities:
1. Landscape Maintenance
• Routine care of lawns, trees, plants, and flowerbeds, ensuring proper watering, pruning, trimming, and fertilization.
• Monitor and maintain irrigation systems to ensure efficient water usage.
• Plan and execute seasonal planting, replanting, and landscaping improvements.
2. Pest & Weed Control
• Implement safe and environmentally friendly pest and weed control programs.
• Ensure the use of hospital-approved chemicals and procedures to maintain hygiene and patient safety.
3. Hardscape & Outdoor Facilities
• Inspect and maintain outdoor fixtures such as pathways, benches, lighting, and signage to ensure safety and aesthetics.
• Coordinate repair or replacement of damaged hardscape elements.
4. Preventive & Corrective Maintenance
• Develop and follow preventive maintenance schedules for landscaping equipment (mowers, trimmers, irrigation pumps, etc.).
• Maintain service logs and inspection records of all outdoor facilities.
5. Compliance & Safety
• Ensure all landscaping work adheres to local environmental and safety regulations.
• Follow infection control guidelines by maintaining clean and pest-free surroundings.
• Support inspections by MOH or other regulatory bodies regarding outdoor environments.
6. Coordination & Reporting
• Prepare periodic reports on landscaping activities, issues identified, and recommendations for improvement.
• Assist in budgeting for landscaping materials, tools, and major projects.

-- Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Landscaping, Horticulture, Agriculture, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in landscape maintenance or facility grounds management, preferably in healthcare or commercial complexes.
• Strong knowledge of irrigation systems, plant care, and pest control methods.
• Ability to read landscape plans and implement design modifications.
• Hands-on problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Willingness to work on shifts or be on-call for emergencies.
• Physically fit to perform outdoor inspections and hands-on work as required.
• Must have a valid Driving License.
