Basic
- Follow procedures and instructions as laid out in the ISO 9001:2000 manual and report deviations for Corrective Action
- Follow all Company Rules & Regulations
- Carry out container inspection for cleanliness, damage etc.


Job Function
- To execute the requirement of Terminal Handling Dept Head and estimators
- To assess the cleanliness and damage to containers .
- To report damage to the estimator and dry sweep the container
- Implement HSSE Standards.


Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Read correct shipping line from the port EIR prior to inspecting the container
- Thorough visual inspection carriedout on all sides and inside to assess the damage
- Observation to be noted in the container inspection slip
- Drysweep the container and remove all stickers
- Remark on the container for aiding CHE operator for stacking.
H S S E
- Ensure whoever in the operational area wear proper PPE
- Ensure Manfree Depot Standards are being followed strictly
- Ensure relevant Global Minimum Requirement standards are followed strictly
- Help the company for achieving zero Loss Time Injury
- Ensure personnel working in the inspection area do not violate safety guidelines within in gate.
- Report unsafe acts/conditions, near misses, incidents, safety violations etc. immediately to the HSSE Department
