BMS Technician (5pcks)

BMS Technician is responsible for the operation, monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the Building Management System (BMS)(Honeywell-ALERTON) to ensure efficient and reliable control of building services such as HVAC, lighting, power, and life safety systems. The role supports optimal energy management, quick fault detection, and system integrity across the facility.
B. Key Accountabilities:
Monitor and control building systems through the BMS platform, including HVAC, electrical, lighting, plumbing, and fire alarm interfaces.
Perform routine checks on the BMS software, hardware, field controllers, sensors, actuators, and communication networks.
Diagnose and resolve faults in BMS components such as control panels, input/output modules, and network controllers.
Modify system parameters, time schedules, and setpoints based on operational requirements and energy efficiency goals.
Support the commissioning, calibration, and integration of new systems and equipment into the BMS.
Liaise with HVAC, electrical, and fire systems technicians to ensure accurate and functional system interaction.
Maintain logs and records of alarms, incidents, corrective actions, and software changes.
Ensure that BMS operations comply with manufacturer specifications, energy standards, and health & safety regulations.
Respond to alarms and emergency events through the BMS interface and escalate critical issues as needed.

C. Required Qualifications:-
Electronics and communications, Instrumentation Engineering Diploma degree or higher
Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in the same field, relevant in size and nature of the project.
