Description

Job Objective:
To supervise the execution of earthworks and road construction activities in accordance with approved drawings and technical specifications, ensuring high-quality standards, timely completion, and compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

uties and Responsibilities:
Supervise excavation, backfilling, and ground leveling works in line with design drawings and specifications.

Oversee the implementation of road layers (subgrade, sub-base, base, asphalt).

Coordinate on-site activities between work crews and subcontractors to ensure smooth operations.

Monitor the quality of materials used in earthworks and road construction to ensure compliance with project requirements.

Ensure soil and material tests are conducted (e.g., compaction test, CBR test) and meet required standards.

Enforce safety and occupational health procedures on the construction site.

Prepare daily and weekly progress reports highlighting work status and any challenges.

Assist in resolving technical or execution-related issues that may arise during construction.
