Job Title: Senior Fa?ade Structural Engineer (7–10 Years Experience)

Responsibilities:

1. Structural Design & Analysis

Lead the structural design and engineering of various fa?ade systems including curtain walls, cladding, glazing, and unitized panels.
Perform advanced structural calculations and finite element analysis (FEA) to ensure structural integrity under wind, seismic, thermal, and other environmental loads.
Design and review steel and aluminum substructures, brackets, anchors, and connections to the primary structure.

2. Project Coordination

Collaborate closely with architects, fa?ade consultants, MEP engineers, and contractors to ensure integrated fa?ade solutions.
Attend technical meetings and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve structural and design issues efficiently.

3. Technical Documentation

Prepare and review structural reports, design calculation packages, technical drawings, and installation methodologies.
Ensure all design documentation complies with relevant international and local codes, standards, and client specifications.

4. Site Supervision & Quality Control

Provide technical support during fabrication, installation, and commissioning phases.
Conduct site inspections, review shop drawings and material submittals, and verify installation against design specifications.

5. Innovation & Sustainability

Propose and implement innovative structural solutions to improve fa?ade performance, reduce material usage, and enhance constructability.
Support the development of sustainable and energy-efficient fa?ade systems, considering structural optimization and lifecycle performance.

6. Team Leadership & Mentoring

Support junior engineers and CAD technicians through mentoring and technical guidance.
Manage engineering deliverables across multiple projects while ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.

7. Risk Management & Compliance

Identify potential structural risks related to fa?ade systems and propose mitigation strategies.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and structural standards such as Eurocodes, ASCE, ACI, BS, or other applicable codes.
