Job Title: Project Engineer – Oil & Gas

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Engineer with a strong background in the oil and gas industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, schedule, and oversee engineering activities for oil and gas projects from concept to completion.

Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.

Ensure compliance with industry codes, QA/QC policies, and HSE standards.

Monitor project progress, prepare status reports, and recommend corrective actions as needed.

Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure project alignment and approvals.

Review engineering deliverables and initiate necessary revisions.

Support cost estimation, risk assessment, and resource planning.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Petroleum, or related Engineering field.

Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in project engineering within the oil and gas sector.

Strong knowledge of industry standards, drilling operations, and production systems.

Proficiency in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

PMP certification is a plus.
