Job Summary:
Responsible for the daily monitoring, operation, and maintenance of sewage treatment plant equipment and processes to ensure efficient and compliant wastewater treatment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Operate and monitor plant equipment and systems (pumps, blowers, valves, etc.).
• Conduct routine inspections of facilities and machinery.
• Collect and perform basic wastewater sample analyses.
• Adjust chemical dosing rates as directed.
• Record operational data and meter readings accurately.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks.
• Respond to alarms and emergencies.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent. Technical certification or vocational training in wastewater treatment, mechanical, or electrical fields is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in operating a sewage treatment plant or similar industrial facility.
• Basic knowledge of wastewater treatment processes, equipment, and their functions.
• Physical fitness to perform duties that may involve standing, walking, lifting, climbing, and working in various weather conditions and confined spaces.
• Good observation skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and monitoring systems.
