Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Foreign Language Translator to support Saudi Aramco projects by providing accurate and professional translation services across documentation, meetings, and communications. The ideal candidate will facilitate effective communication between multi-national teams and ensure compliance with Aramco's linguistic and documentation standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Translate written documents (technical, contractual, administrative) from Arabic language to English and vice versa.
2. Interpret verbal conversations during meetings, site inspections, or briefings involving foreign and local stakeholders.
3. Ensure clarity, consistency, and cultural appropriateness of translations.
4. Review and proofread translated materials for accuracy and technical correctness.
5. Collaborate with engineering, procurement, HSE, and construction teams to understand terminology and project-specific language.
6. Maintain a glossary of project terms in accordance with Aramco’s standards.
7. Assist in the preparation and translation of Aramco-related documentation including inspection requests, transmittals, reports, and correspondence.
8. Ensure confidentiality and sensitivity of all translated information.
9. Support document control and administrative teams with linguistic tasks.
10. Fluent in Arabic and English.


Requirements:

1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Translation, or any relevant field.
2. Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of translation/interpretation experience in oil & gas, construction, or industrial projects. Aramco project experience is highly preferred.
4. Certifications: Translation/interpreter certification preferred (e.g., ATA, NAATI, or equivalent).
5. Familiarity with Saudi Aramco specifications, procedures, and communication protocols.
6. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and writing skills.
7. Proficient with Microsoft Office and document editing tools.
