Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior HPE NonStop Systems Engineer to join our operations team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in managing and supporting HPE NonStop environments, with specific experience in running BASE24 and BESS (Banking Enterprise Server Software) applications. The role involves ensuring high availability, performance, and security of mission-critical banking systems that support transaction processing and payment platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
• Operate, monitor, and maintain HPE NonStop systems, ensuring 24/7 uptime and performance across production and disaster recovery environments.
• Manage and support BASE24 Classic and BASE24-eps applications including authorization, settlement, and switching processes.
• Handle day-to-day operations of BESS modules and coordinate with application teams to ensure seamless banking service delivery.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system and application issues, including hardware, software, and network-related faults within the NonStop ecosystem.
• Implement and monitor security controls, patches, and compliance measures across HPE NonStop platforms.
• Participate in system upgrades, migrations, and performance tuning efforts.
• Provide on-call support and assist during critical incidents to ensure minimal business impact.
• Collaborate with vendors (e.g., HPE, ACI) and internal stakeholders for issue resolution and enhancements.
• Prepare documentation for standard operating procedures, failover testing, and system recovery drills.

Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5 to 10 years of hands-on experience in HPE NonStop systems operations and support.
• Proven experience in BASE24 and BESS environments, preferably within a banking or financial institution.
• Deep understanding of ATM/POS transaction flows, card processing systems, and electronic payments.
• Strong knowledge of NonStop OSS and Guardian environments.
• Familiarity with TACL scripting, Enscribe, SQL/MP, and system monitoring tools (e.g., EMS, Prognosis).
• Experience with regulatory compliance and security practices within banking environments.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

• Certification in HPE NonStop or ACI BASE24 technologies.
• Experience working in large-scale banking or fintech environments.
• Ability to work under pressure and in a 24/7 operational environment.
